Rhug Trail Run Goes Down a Storm - Without The Storm!

Our second race of 2016 kicked off where Brynkinalt ended. Once again over a hundred people took part in the second race of the season at Rhug Estate, Corwen on Sunday the 10th April 2016.

The weather had been pretty bad all week, with snow and hail and heavy rain. But when Sunday arrived the storms parted for just one day and blue skies greeted us again.

With the ground receiving a soaking over the previous week the route was soft and very muddy in places but this didn't stop the runners having a great time over the spectacular Rhug Estate grounds.

The 20km Race started at 10:30am and was won by Charlie Sharp in a time of 1:27:10 and by Emily Sanders in a time of 1:50:32.
The 10km Race started at 11am and was won by Peter Butler in a time of 44:44 and by Jazz Maddox in a time of 54:44.
